3.
Save & Download – Click Save & Download to export the PDF with the selected pages removed.
Visual Page Selection
The tool renders every page as a thumbnail preview. Click any page to select it, or use Ctrl+Click (Cmd+Click on Mac) to select multiple pages scattered throughout the document. On desktop, you can also box-select by dragging across the page grid. Selected pages are highlighted before deletion, so you can visually confirm which pages will be removed before saving.
Delete vs. Extract
This tool removes pages from the existing document — the output contains everything except the deleted pages. If you want the opposite (keeping only specific pages), use the extract pages tool instead. If you need to rearrange the remaining pages after deletion, the organize pages tool provides full drag-and-drop reordering.
What Stays, What Goes
Deleted pages are permanently excluded from the output file. All remaining pages retain their original text, images, annotations, and formatting without any re-encoding. Bookmarks that reference deleted pages will no longer work, but bookmarks pointing to surviving pages are preserved.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I select multiple pages to delete at once?
Yes. Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and click each page you want to remove. You can also box-select on desktop by dragging across the page grid to select a range.
Will deleting pages affect the remaining content quality?
No. Remaining pages are kept exactly as they exist in the source file. Text, images, fonts, and annotations are not re-encoded or compressed.
Can I undo a page deletion before downloading?
No undo is available once a page is deleted from the editor. If you remove a page by mistake, re-upload the original file to start over.
What is the difference between removing and extracting pages?
Removing deletes the selected pages and keeps everything else. Extracting keeps only the selected pages and discards the rest. They are inverse operations.
Can I also rotate or reorder pages while removing?
Yes. The page editor includes rotation buttons and drag-and-drop reordering alongside the delete function. You can clean up the entire document in one session.
What happens to bookmarks that reference deleted pages?
Bookmarks pointing to deleted pages will no longer navigate to a valid destination. Bookmarks referencing pages that remain in the document continue to work normally.
Can I remove pages from a password-protected PDF?
You need to unlock the PDF first. Once the password protection is removed, upload the file and delete pages normally.
How large of a PDF can I process?
The tool handles files up to 100 MB. Very large documents may take a moment to render all page thumbnails before you can begin selecting.
